generation of easy install Sony Smart cameras. The embedded
intelligence and versatile interfaces for ‘PC-free’ processing
will create a new range of application in industrial
environments.

Advanced 3D Modeling available with a new option GCPS
 With
the Scorpion 6.0 release a new option is available GCPS - this option enables Scorpion users to create high precision 3D Models
with a standard video projector and one camera. To the right a
point cloud capture with Scorpion. The cylinder visualizes a
located cylinder. GCPS - stands for Grey Coding and Phase Shift.
The new option makes 3D Measurement, 3D Robot Vision, Random Bin
Picking and 3D Assembly Verification feasible for everyone.
The option is developed in cooperation with the Norwegian
Research Institute - Sintef. It is the first commercial result
of the research project "Auto3D" sponsored by the Norwegian
